According to the Wall Street Journal, December’s U.S. consumer confidence level climbed to its highest level since December 2001. A separate confidence measure, released by
the University of Michigan on Dec. 23, found that Americans are more confident in the economy than at any point in nearly 13 years.
How does this impact real estate? According to economists, upbeat consumers are more likely to spend more money. Spring of 2016 saw massive activity, especially from buyers. Hopefully this year there will be more sellers willing to make a move in increase our inventory.
