The Best Airbnb Locations for Summer Income
Sometimes making smart investments can make all the difference. It was in this spirit that the data analysts at First Alliance Title sat down and calculated just exactly WHERE is the top Front Range/Mountain county for ROI on Airbnb properties.
We were pleasantly surprised to find a clear winner based on the summer 2019 numbers:
1
El Paso County, the home of Colorado Springs.
2 & 3
Coming in at a close second and third were
Denver and Jefferson Counties (Golden, Lakewood)
4 & 5
followed by
Larimer (Ft Collins, Estes Park, Loveland) and Boulder County (Boulder, Superior, Lafayette, Longmont).
6
Mid-level return falls with
Grand County (Granby, Winter Park).
7
The less appealing areas to maximize your ROI seem to start with
Pitkin (Aspen), followed by Summit (Breck, Copper, Keystone, Dillon, Frisco) and Routt (Steamboat Springs).
8
After punching the numbers, the least appealing area for your ROI land with
Eagle County, the home of Vail and Beaver Creek.
These calculations were made using regional home price divided by gross AirBnB summer revenue to create the GRM (Gross Rent Multiplier) for each area. Data points are from AirBnB, from 5.27.19 to 9.2.19.
